A creamy sauce for a juicy steak
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- ½ Onion finely chopped
- ½ cup Cream
- 100g Blue cheese - Castello Creamy Blue is my choice
- Spring onion sliced
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter and add onion. Sauté until onion is soft and translucent. Add blue cheese and warm through, then add cream. Stir until sauce is smooth and continue to cook until mixture has thickened slightly. This allows flavours to blend and condense. Add spring onion a few minutes prior to serving. Pour a generous amount over a well cooked steak.
